Prayer is something that takes time and intention, and we often mis-understand it. We come to God like He’s a genie granting us three wishes. God is not our bro, the Man Upstairs or the Big Guy in the Sky. He is a Holy God. When we come to him with this posture we can only stand in awe of who He is.
